CARD OPERATED LAUNDRY
Card systems are now mainstream in many modern laundry setups. Cashless vending offers several advantages over coin operation.

1. No need to find coins or have to clear stuck coins from coin mechanisms.
2. No need to collect, count and then bank coins.
3. No theft or machine damage from break in attempts.
4. Full accountability of revenue via regular electronic audits.
5. Tap 'n Go, Swipe, phone app activation options. Amex, Mastercard, Visa, Samsung and Apple Pay.
There are two main systems for operating card vending in laundry machines.
Single vending terminal with display screen.
This system is ideal for multiple machines in the one location. Usually we prefer at least 8 machines to offset the cost of the hardware. The advantage is lower ongoing costs, such as license fees and only having a single sim card cost (telemetry).

Individual readers on each machine.
Ideal for a small number of machines or machines in multiple laundry locations. The initial cost is lower than the touch screen option, but ongoing costs can be higher as each machine will usually require an individual sim card.
